1st Touch vs STATSportsSTATSports measures your running. 1st Touch measures your football.

//What decides it

Four things that matter to a player.

01

Live analysis

1st Touch
An analyst tags your match while it is played. Your stats are ready as the match ends, and on live plans the full analysis is with you within the hour.
STATSports
Your data arrives when you sync the vest after the session.
02

Accurate data

1st Touch
Every pass, duel and touch is tagged by a person who watched it happen, then checked by a second person before it reaches you.
STATSports
Precise on physical output. It can't see a pass, a duel or a decision.
03

Player first, not club

1st Touch
Bought by you and built around you. Your record stays yours when you change club, and nobody sees it unless you share it.
STATSports
Yours to own, built for individual athletes as well as teams.
04

Vertical AI

1st Touch
Built for one sport and one player. Automation finds the broadcast and cuts every action into its own clip; a trained analyst makes every call about what you did.
STATSports
Sensor analytics: it knows where you ran, not what you did with the ball.

Questions, answered.

Something else? Write to us and a person replies.

  • If you want physical numbers like distance, top speed and sprints, yes, and there's no subscription. It won't tell you how many passes you completed or duels you won. Many players use a GPS tracker for load and 1st Touch for what happens on the ball.

  • No. A GPS vest measures movement. Passes, duels, shots and touches need someone, or something, watching the ball. At 1st Touch that is a trained analyst, live, with a second person checking the result.

  • A GPS tracker measures your body: how far, how fast, how often. Match analysis measures your football: what you did with the ball and what came of it. They answer different questions, and they work well together.

  • Request an invite. We check we can cover your league before you pay anything, and once you're in, your next match is analysed live.
